Our 9 Step Process
1.
Fill Out Our Contact Form
To get started, simply fill out the contact form on our contact page and tell us a bit about your home, your ideas, and the type of project you’re considering—deck, patio cover, basement, addition, or custom build.
2.
Discovery Call
Once we receive your form, we’ll reach out to schedule a phone or Zoom consultation. During this call, we’ll talk through your goals, budget range, timeline, and any questions you have so we can see if we’re the right fit for your project.
3.
Home Consultation
Next, we’ll visit your home and walk the space together. We’ll review the overall layout, discuss options, and take detailed measurements and photos. This visit helps us understand how you use your home today—and how we can improve it.
4.
Planning, Scope & Preliminary Estimate
After the site visit, we’ll put together a clear project scope that covers materials, structural details, and a rough timeline. We’ll then provide a preliminary estimate so you have a realistic picture of what your project will involve.
5.
Design Phase & Contract Signing
Once you’re comfortable moving forward, we’ll refine the design, finishes, and final details. We’ll review the contract with you line by line—covering scope, pricing, schedule, and warranty—so everything is transparent. When you’re confident and ready, we’ll sign the contract and lock in your start date.
6.
Final Design & 3D Visualization
For projects that require it, we’ll create a detailed design and, when appropriate, a 3D rendering so you can clearly see how your new space will look and feel. This is where we fine-tune layouts, materials, and the small details that make the difference.
7.
Pre-Construction Walkthrough & Project Kickoff
Before any tools come out, we’ll do a pre-construction walkthrough with you to review access, protection of existing areas, and what to expect day-to-day. You’ll meet the core team working on your home so you know exactly who is there and what they’re doing.
8.
Build Phase & Quality Checkpoints
While we’re building, we keep your project on schedule and up to our standards. We perform regular quality checkups, coordinate with any subcontractors, and provide updates so you always know where things stand—no surprises.
9.
Final Walkthrough & 5-Year Craftsmanship Warranty
When the work is complete, we’ll walk the finished space with you, create and address any punch-list items, and make sure you’re thrilled with the result. Your project is also backed by our 5-year craftsmanship warranty—if anything covered by our agreement needs attention, we’ll come back and make it right at no additional cost.
